E-learning course was developed by the EC under the program "Customs 2013" for economic operators and customs officials in the EU to introduce registration of the operator and identification (EORI). Training was developed in collaboration with expert customs officials and is available for download at your leisure. The course can be downloaded as a ZIP file in several languages.

This training provides detailed practical guidance for economic operators and customs officials in the implementation of registration and identification numbers of traders.

The course consists of three units, as follows:

    EORI: What does this mean for operators?
    Who has to apply for an EORI number?
    What should our firm do?

How to start using the course

    First, extract the zip file to a folder of your choice on your computer
    Read "Quick Start" document
    This document will contain all necessary information
    Install the course to your system as outlined in the document, Quick Start Guide, or contact your system administrator to do it
    Open the course and follow the instructions on the course
